Spooner Industries Ltd of Ilkley, West Yorkshire, will be making its debut at iba 2009 in Germany, to demonstrate its existing baking, proving and cooling solutions as well as launch an extended list of products and services to the European food industry.
Complimenting the company’s long established capabilities in the design and manufacture of ovens, provers and coolers, Spooner now offers a range of air conditioning systems to meet all bakery needs.
Since 1932, Spooner Industries has provided pioneering technology and bespoke solutions for the food industry. The new technologies now on offer revolve around control of temperature and humidity within the process environment. Services offered to the baking industry include:
§Steam, gas or electric heated bread proving and baking equipment.
§Bread cooling plant developed especially for optimum efficiency in controlling product cooling and weight loss.
§Air blast systems have also been developed to control dough piece quality for use with either steam, gas, oil or electric.
In addition the company has introduced a Technical Services Division to offer full service maintenance and support for new and existing customers.
Employing a team of specialist engineers, the new Technical Service Division combines essential process skills and machine building knowledge in order to maximize the performance of existing process equipment. This includes equipment inspection and reports, advice on maintenance schedules, recommendations and supply of spare parts, plant refurbishment and relocation, in house test facilities and personalized solutions.
Andrew Robinson from Spooner Industries, will be available at Trade Fair Centre Dusseldorf on stand 10E17, hall 10, throughout the 3rd to 9th October providing hot food samples of various baked goods produced on Spooner’s bespoke process equipment.
